The London Schools Arts Service (LONSAS) and its partner site
Education Arts Service West Midlands (EAS WM) are the Arts Council
funded online services for those providing arts and cultural learning
opportunities for children and young people.
Both projects have been developed and managed by web agency Winona eSolutions.
The website offers educators, coordinators, arts and cultural
practitioners and organisations the tools to develop projects and
collaborate.
A directory of experienced creative practitioners and organisations,
all of whom carry CRB disclosure and references, makes it easy to find a
partner for your project. The website offers practical and policy
guidance, resources, inspiration, opportunities to share, collaborate
and keep up to date with all the news and events from within your region
and beyond.
LONSAS and EAS WM are currently funded to serve London and the West
Midlands regions. Both are hosted on a new national portal:
educationartsservice.org.uk offers practitioners across the UK access to
the tools that foster young people’s participation in the arts,
encouraging achievement and developing pathways into the creative
industries.

LONSAS
Formed in 2004, LONSAS has grown from a one stop shop for teachers to a valuable resource used across the arts and cultural learning sectors.
With over 95% of London schools signed up, LONSAS has established itself as THE place educators go to when looking for help, inspiration and suitable arts partners; and an essential portal for any artist, arts or cultural organisation wishing to work with London schools.
